CORRUPT SENATOR RUTH HASSELL-THOMPSON

Tomorrow at 10 A.M. the race for Mayor in the City of Mount Vernon is set to begin as the first of an unsavory cast of characters in set to announce her candidacy for Mayor. 

That character is corrupt New York State Senator Ruth Hassel-Thompson, the do nothing Senator who represents parts of Mount Vernon and a huge section covering parts of the Bronx.

Many question the motives of Senator Thompson seeking the Mayoral office in Mount Vernon, but one thing is for sure; Senator Thompson is nothing more than criminal Mayor Ernie Davis in a dress.  Senator Thompson did nothing as a City Council person in Mount Vernon and even less as a Senator in Albany.

The embattled Senator is the subject of a Federal investigation as she was caught on Federal wiretaps.  The contents of those wiretaps still have not been made available to the public.  According to an Albany insider, Senator Thompson was very instrumental in the backdoor deal making in Albany and testified at the trial of former Majority Leader Malcolm Smith.  It is alleged that Senator Thompson testified against Senator Smith in exchange for Thompson not being prosecuted by Federal authorities for her years of corruption while serving as a Senator in Albany.

To add insult to injury Senator Thompson has formed a ticket with a bunch of unscrupulous individuals that will be her running mates.

CORRUPT FORMER CITY CLERK LISA COPELAND

Senator Thompson's running mate that will seek City Council seats are Lisa Copeland and Diane Munro-Morris.  Lisa Copeland was the former City Clerk who intentionally and willfully destroyed documents in City Hall when F.B.I agents were investigating Mayor Ernie Davis.  Those documents included financial disclosure statements of Mayor Davis and other documents.

CORRUPT CITY COUNCILMAN DIANE MUNRO MORRIS

Diane Munro-Morris is the former president the Mount Vernon City School District Board of Trustees and is a former Mount Vernon City Councilwoman.  While serving on the school board, Munro-Morris was singlehandedly responsible for bring in former Superintendent Dr. Sawyer, the corrupt Superintendent that used taxpayer coffers as her personal slush fund and was involved in an inappropriate relationship with a teacher at Mount Vernon High School.

According to political insider, is has even been alleged that Munro-Morris profited in the hiring of Dr. Sawyer by receiving a kickback from the search firm that recommended the hiring of Dr. Sawyer.

Question have gone unanswered about the health of Senator Thompson and if she is even healthy enough to endure the campaign for Mayor which is sure to be an exhausting and the most difficult campaign of Senator's Thompson career.  In recent years, including during last years re-election campaign for Senate, Senator Thompson was hospitalized with serious health issues.   Many of these hospitalizations seem to occur during the State budget process, which raises further doubt if Senator Thompson is mentally competent to serve as Mayor of the City of Mount Vernon.  

Mount Vernon residents are encouraged to come out at 10 A.M. tomorrow on the steps of City Hall as Senator Thompson publicly announces her candidacy to continue the criminal enterprise of criminal Mayor Ernie Davis.

Incompetence Plagues the Comptrollers Office

CORRUPT COMPTROLLER MAUREEN WALKER

Since last year’s firing of Deputy Comptroller Tom Rajala, the Comptroller’s office has become one of the worst run departments in Mount Vernon’s City Hall. Rajala’s firing was executed because he did not campaign for Maureen Walker on her last election. It is no secret that Tom Rajala competently ran the Comptroller’s office, and since his departure, the Comptroller's office is in shambles. It is also no secret that Comptroller Walker does not have a clue how to run her department.

One example of Comptroller Walkers’ incompetency recently reared it ugly head when Comptroller Walker mailed out incorrect W-2 forms to city workers who made 414H contributions. Such a mistake is inexcusable and very costly to Mount Vernon taxpayers. This never happened when Tom Rajala ran the Comptroller’s office. Walker proceeded to mail letters to workers, informing them of the mistake, but she failed to use her department letterhead in an attempt to hide her incompetency. Mount Vernon taxpayers were forced to pay for Comptroller Walker’s blunder.  Furthermore, in January, New York State cited the Comptroller’s office with mismanagement. State auditors were critical of Maureen Walker’s payroll department, which lost millions in taxpayer dollars. Instead of accepting responsibility, Comptroller Walker forced employee Greg Bowman to resign, and Marsha Simpson was suspended.

The Comptroller’s office is a disaster, and Maureen Walker is the leader of a sinking ship. Comptroller Walker’s ineptness has cost taxpayers millions of dollars. Comptroller Walker spends too much of her city time handling her personal business, and illegally uses her employees to work on fundraisers and campaign duties. These are all performed on the City’s clock and at taxpayer’s expense

Maureen Walker has turned her back on the citizens of Mount Vernon. Comptroller Walker cuts deals with unsavory characters hoping to obtain support for this year’s Mayor’s election from the Mount Vernon Democratic City Committee.  Comptroller Walker remained silent while Mount Vernon residents were hit with over 31% in tax increases for the past 3 years. Developers are in the process of making Mount Vernon the home for every homeless person in the state. One such property is the development at 125 South 5^th Avenue, formerly owned by Comptroller Walker ally Serepher Halevi, which Walker gave her blessing to at Sunday’s groundbreaking ceremony.

Developers have been purchasing an enormous amount of foreclosed homes to build low-income housing for out of town people.  Most of these properties were tax foreclosures of the elderly who could not pay the tax increases implemented by our Comptroller. Maureen Walker has been brutal on taxpayers, especially the elderly, and has foreclosed on them at an alarming rate. Comptroller Walker has shown no mercy on the people of Mount Vernon.

Low-income housing has destroyed Mount Vernon, because it allows other towns and villages to dump their citizens in Mount Vernon. Our city has the Lion share of the County’s homeless population. City schools are overwhelmed, and Comptroller Walker remains silent while Mount Vernon declines.

Mount Vernon is being sold to the highest bidder and Comptroller Walker is in on the heist.  Comptroller Walker sold her soul for a chance to be Mayor, but she is not qualified to be Mayor or to hold any position in The City of Mount Vernon. Her department is poorly run, and she has become a liability to Mount Vernon. Comptroller Walker needs to resign and a qualified and honest Comptroller should replace her.

 District Turnaround?

One year ago, School Board President Lenny Sarver tried to ram through the selection of Elmwood Park NJ Superintendent Richard Tomko, as Superintendent of Mount Vernon’s School System. The Board initially chose Robert Wayne Harris, because he successfully guided Roosevelt Long Island’s School District after a New York State takeover. Mr. Harris was suspiciously tampered with, and was met with difficult negotiations from the school board attorney's, specifically Gus Mountanos. Mr. Harris subsequently pulled his name from consideration. Despite the objection of Sarver, the Board majority chose Dr. Kenneth Hamilton, a successful Superintendent from Monroe Township NJ.

During the District’s negotiations with Dr. Hamilton, Lenny Sarver twisted arms of some fellow Board members and put a resolution on the table to hire Richard Tomko for Superintendent. Sarver and Tomko kept vital information from fellow board members.  Sarver and Tomko failed to disclose the fact that Tomko’s District was being cited for mismanagement of New Jersey State aid money.   Furthermore, Tomko lied to the board about the demographics of Elmwood Park, to try to prove he managed a district that mirrored Mount Vernon. Only the courage of a few Board Members prevented Tomko’s vote from passing. Tomko is now the Superintendent of Belleville, New Jersey.

Cooler heads prevailed, and Dr. Hamilton was chosen as Mount Vernon’s Superintendent.

Mount Vernon Government and religious politics have destroyed the Mount Vernon School District, and City politics continue to do so. City Officials are hell bent on bringing every low income resident in New York State to Mount Vernon. Additional low-income housing is currently being built throughout Mount Vernon.  Mount Vernon is cash strapped City that already houses the lion’s share of Westchester County’s low income and homeless population. These practices have, and will continue to put a burden on Mount Vernon taxpayers. , These practices will cripple Mount Vernon’s school system as it has done in the past. Children brought into Mount Vernon from other areas throughout New York State, are being educated by our School District. Most of these children have special needs, with an average cost of $50,000 per year to educate them. Student performances will continue to suffer under these conditions.  Mount Vernon Exposed would like to see Mount Vernon School District officials address the damage being caused by City politics.

Dr. Hamilton has been doing a wonderful job as Superintendent. Wasteful spending has ceased, and vocational programs may soon begin. The tone and professionalism of the district has vastly improved from the Judith Johnson regime. Another pleasant addition to the district is Kenneth Silver, the new Business Manager.  Mr. Silver is a major upgrade from corrupt former Business Manager Timothy Costello.

It is important that Dr. Hamilton and Mr. Silver do not become influenced by religious and city leaders. Understanding the troubled past will go a long way in turning around Mount Vernon’s School District. However, if City Officials continue their policies, it will be difficult for our promising Superintendent, or any Superintendent to succeed.

The cornerstone of free democracy is the right to vote and that right must be protected at all costs.  We hope United States Attorney Preet Bharara is paying attention to what is going on in Westchester County and we hope he is paying even closer attention to corrupt Westchester County Democratic Chairman and Election Commissioner Reginald Lafayette. 

For those that don't know, Mount Vernon Exposed will explain how the powerful, uneducated Lafayette is the most dangerous person in Westchester County politics.  Investigating and putting Lafayette in jail should be just as important of a priority for the F.B.I. as putting I.S.I.S. out of commission.  Lafayette is a homegrown political terrorist that corrupted the entire political process in Westchester County.

Criminal Mayor Ernie Davis attributed his last victory to the help provided specifically by Lafayette.  Lafayette is a walking conflict of interest.  Lafayette is the Commissioner of the Board of Elections and the Chairman of the Westchester Democratic Committee. Lafayette is also the Chairman of the Mount Vernon Democratic City Committee.  As election commissioner, Lafayette is in charge of the voter rolls and decides which workers get placed where on Election Day. 

During the last Primary Mayoral election, there were a documented 1,000 cases of fraud perpetrated by Criminal Mayor Ernie Davis' campaign.  Comptroller Maureen Walker discovered this in her challenge but was quickly silenced and paid off with party support if she dropped her challenge to Ernie Davis.  Walker ran unopposed with Lafayette's blessing during her re-election as Comptroller. It is not a coincidence that Walker and Davis are now playing nice and are in bed together to bankrupt the City of Mount Vernon. 

Lafayette is the biggest threat to democracy in Westchester County and is frequently called "Osama Bin Lafayette" because of his terroristic political activities.  Lafayette as required by law, never purges the voter rolls.  By failing to purge the voter rolls of people who have moved out of the district and are deceased, Lafayette has an endless supply of names he provides to his terrorist sleeper cells in Mount Vernon and elsewhere.  These names are then used by the sleeper cells that then go vote and sign in before workers personally handpicked by Lafayette.  This unchecked system of fraud has gone on for decades and is the reason Mount Vernon is the only city in the United States of America with a Mayor currently on probation. 

Reggie Lafayette has previously been exposed for shaking down candidates for Judgeships demanding that they pay him in cash, 10% of the gross salary over the period of the elected term, as payment for securing the judgeship.  Because of Lafayette, the entire judicial system in the 9th Judicial District is tainted and compromised.  The 9th Judicial district is comprised of Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange, and Putnam Counties. 

Why is Lafayette still in power after he failed to win the last two County executive races?  The truth is Lafayette has no morals, ethics, or values and represents a party that cannot win the office of County Executive.  Democrats will never reclaim the office of Westchester County Executive as long as Reggie Lafayette is the captain of the ship. 

It is documented that Lafayette takes payoffs from developers and others seeking to build in Westchester.  It is alleged that more than $100K went into Lafayette' s pocket when Louis Capelli, the developer of the City Center in White Plains and New Roc City in New Rochelle, was seeking to build.  Sources told Mount Vernon Exposed that Lafayette received payments to secure and arrange meetings with the Mayor and City Council members of these cities to ensure that these projects would get approved. 

Lafayette recently sold Noam Bramson up the river during the last election.  Instead of drumming up the Democratic base in Westchester County, Lafayette began drumming up support for his bank account. 

Let us explain.  Reggie Lafayette who is best friends with Criminal Mayor Ernie Davis, who is in turn is best friends with corrupt Pastor W. Franklyn Richardson,  concocted a scheme that would put millions of dollars in their pockets courtesy of cash strapped Mount Vernon taxpayers. These dollars would come from kickbacks from the developer constructing low income housing at 125 South 5th Avenue, a site owned by Serepher Conn-Halevi, the embattled underling of Lafayette. 

Sources have told Mount Vernon Exposed that a secret meeting was held between Richardson, Davis, and Lafayette in which Davis told Lafayette to stand down and to suppress the Democratic vote in Westchester to ensure that Noam Bramson would not win the election.  Noam Bramson's loss was part of the bigger get rich scheme the 3 kings were after. 

The corrupt Richardson was promised if current Westchester County Executive Robert Astorino were to win re-election that Westchester County would purchase for $1 from Richardson, the property formerly owned by Mount Vernon City Marshall and 1st Vice Chair of the Mount Vernon Democratic City Committee Serepher Conn-Halevi.   Halevi was also told to suppress the vote in the City of Mount Vernon to ensure an Astorino victory.  Their plan worked.  If you drive by the former site of owned by Serepher Conn-Halevi, one would see cranes and construction taking place to erect more low-income housing in the City of Mount Vernon. 

It appears that Reggie made good on his promise to screw Noam Bramson and as a result, Robert Astorino cruised on to victory.
