Earning $135,000 a year for some people means good living and enjoying the finer things in life.  Apparently for DPW Supervisor Rudy Persaud that isn’t enough.  Once again Rudy Persaud has shown that corruption is “alive and well” in the administration of Mayor Clinton Young.  Rudy Persaud is currently serving a 30 day suspension without pay for his latest act of official misconduct.  

Mount Vernon City officials are well aware of Persaud’s corruption and are taking steps to do damage control, especially since this year is a Mayoral election year.  The damage done by Persaud and others may prove too much to rehabilitate Mayor Young’s failing re-election bid.  

According to sources, Rudy Persaud is facing potential criminal charges due to the fact he used city equipment and resources paid for by Mount Vernon taxpayers to repair a private homeowner’s sidewalk at 245 Summit Avenue.  Alice Seibert, the owner of the property, paid Rudy Persaud money to repair the sidewalk after Rudy Persaud suggested to Ms. Seibert that he could get the job done at a cheap price.  The homeowner then entered into an agreement to repair the sidewalk at 245 Summit Avenue.  

However, before Rudy Persaud entered into a contract to repair the sidewalk, a neighbor to Ms. Seibert, Rose Petrucci, who lives at 255 Summit fell and seriously injured herself on the sidewalk at 245 Summit Avenue.  The injury to Ms. Petrucci prompted Rudy Persaud to go to 245 Summit to inspect the property to see if the City of Mount Vernon was liable for the injury and also for the repair of the sidewalk.  Typically, the City of Mount Vernon repairs sidewalks that are damaged due to uprooting trees.  Sources have told Mount Vernon exposed that there was tree root damage at 245 Summit Avenue, however Mr. Persaud told the homeowner that the damage to the sidewalk at 245 Summit Avenue was caused by “environmental causes” and therefore the City of Mount Vernon was not responsible for the repair.  

Mr. Persaud then proceeded to repair Ms. Seibert’s sidewalk.  Mr. Persaud then got paid for the work he and/or his son who is also a public work employee did.  In between all of these events the neighbor at 255 Summit Avenue commenced legal action against the City of Mount Vernon.  The legal matter is still ongoing.  During a deposition hearing where Rudy Persaud was deposed and was under oath, Rudy fabricated tales surrounding the events that led to the repairing of the sidewalk at 245 Summit Avenue.  Rudy denied that he fixed the sidewalks when accusations surfaced.  Rudy was in denial until checks were produced by Ms. Seibert showing that he was indeed paid for his services.  Corporation Counsel Loretta Hottinger quickly tried to push this under the rug.  

Rudy was then given a disciplinary hearing about his egregious, blatant acts of corruption.  Rudy was then given a 30 day suspension without pay.  Loretta Hottinger then forwarded this information over to the Westchester County District Attorney’s office for criminal prosecution.  Mount Vernon Exposed™® will continue to follow this ongoing corruption scandal in Mayor Young’s administration.

Racist Family Court Judge Elect Michelle Shauer

It has come to the attention of Mount Vernon Exposed®™ that racist tactics similar to those used by the Klu Klux Klan are being used by Administrative Judge of the Ninth Judicial district, Alan Scheinkman and Kathie Davidson, Administrative Judge for Family Court, Ninth Judicial district.  

Based upon information and belief, Family Court Judge elect, Michelle Schauer was assigned to Yonkers Family Court beginning in January 2011.  According to sources close to Scheinkman and Schauer, Schauer became extremely angered about the decision to place her in Yonkers.  Mount Vernon Exposed®™ has heard allegations that Michelle Schauer, as Family Court Referee, removed Latino children from their parents simply because the parents did not speak English.  

The Journal News recently covered the horrendous conditions and severe overcrowding in the Yonkers Family Court.  Family Court Judge elect Michelle Schauer decided to take matters into her own hands.  Judge Shauer went out on her own and purchased an asbestos and mold kit.  Judge Schauer then went to the Yonkers Family Court facility on South Broadway and took air samples.  The air samples tested positive for asbestos and mold.

Mount Vernon Exposed investigated Judge-elect Schauer's allegations and found them to be credible.   In a report released by the NYS Office of Court Facilities numerous hazardous conditions were found to exist at the Yonkers Family Court facility.  Some of these dangers include inadequate heating, air conditioning, and ventilation.  Numerous safety issues were also found to exist.  A copy of the report can be found below this story.

It is then alleged that Judge Shauer put her findings in writing to Judge Scheinkman and Judge Davidson informing them that she will not be taking the bench there come January 2011.  According to the source, Judge Shauer described the Yonkers Family Court facility as “uninhabitable”.   Judge Davidson and Judge Scheinkman have been scrambling to find a home for Judge Shauer.  According to the source, Judge Shauer has been getting preferential treatment because she is white.  Judge Malone, who also sits in Yonkers and is black, has been ignored for years and her alleged complaints have fallen on deaf ears.

Mount Vernon Exposed™® has just been informed that former City of Mount Vernon Councilwoman Eileen Justino’s mother was allegedly involved in a fatal hit and run.  According to The Journal News, Bridget Gambone, 85, was arrested by Bronxville detective and charged with felony leaving the scene of an accident which resulted in a death.  Gambone was arraigned in Bronxville village court and released without bail. 

Gambone is charged with running down popular Bronxville educator Sheryl Chasin.  

 Eileen Justino lost her re-election bid for City Council in 2009.  Sources have told Mount Vernon Exposed that Justino plans to run again in 2011.   Mount Vernon Exposed™® will continue to follow this story.

Today, Mount Vernon Exposed™® was provided with another tape of Judge Adam Seiden using inappropriate language and referring to blacks in Mount Vernon “as low life scum bags who make nothing of themselves”.   Mount Vernon Exposed™® has learned that there is a collection of approximately 10CD’s and over 4 hours of secret recordings between Judge Seiden and the undercover investigator. 

Judge Seiden further exhibits total disregard for ethics when he attempts to sell his influence to the undercover investigator.  Judge Seiden even validates the corruption that is running rampant through the City of Mount Vernon government.  The undercover investigator tells Judge Seiden of pesky building inspectors that he encountered while he was developing property in Yonkers.  The undercover investigator then explains to Judge Seiden that he does not want to go through the same thing again in Mount Vernon. 

Judge Seiden tells the undercover investigator that he can help him with his building department troubles. “I can work you through the building department” says Seiden.  When Seiden was asked about his special powers, Judge Seiden quickly goes on the defensive and says “Why do you ask those questions”?  “I’m not telling you how” “All I’m saying is that I’m a Judge here”.

Judge Seiden confirms that pay to play politics does exist in the City of Mount Vernon and that he was quite possibly the kingpin of the criminal syndicate in the City of Mount Vernon.  “Years ago you used to be able to tip them (building inspectors), but not anymore because it doesn’t work that way anymore”. So just does how it work Judge Seiden and how much did you profit off of these nefarious activities?  Those questions and a lot more remain to be answered.  To be continued……….

THE JUDGE ADAM SEIDEN CHRONICLES; CORRUPT JUDGE CAUGHT ON TAPE

The City of Mount Vernon has earned the reputation as being one of the most corrupt governments in America.  This fact was validated by City of Mount Vernon Judge Adam Seiden who was caught on tape calling blacks on the south side of Mount Vernon animals.  

Mount Vernon Exposed™® has listened to over four hours of secret recordings compiled by several undercover investigators of Judge Adam Seiden calling black people in Mount Vernon “low life scumbags”, admitting to violating City of Mount Vernon residency requirements, and attempting to sell access to Mayor Clinton Young.  At one point in the conversation Judge Seiden even calls Mayor Young lazy.

CHIEF OF STAFF YOLANDA ROBINSON ALLEGEDLY CATCHES HUSBAND IN BED WITH ANOTHER MALE

It has come to the attention of Mount Vernon Exposed that City of Mount Vernon Chief of Staff Yolanda Robinson allegedly found her husband James E. Robinson in the bed with another man sometime last week.

According to sources, Yolanda Robinson had long suspected her husband of having an affair.  Yolanda Robinson then allegedly began staking out her husband occasionally following him around town and popping up at the house during lunch breaks.  According to the source, when Robinson checked in at home during lunch last week, she allegedly was shocked to find her husband face down in the bed with another man.
