MOUNT VERNON DEMOCRATIC CHAIRMAN DEVEREAU CANNICK AND 2ND VICE-CHAIRMAN RON DETRES RESTORE LIBERTY TO MOUNT VERNON RESIDENTS

Mount Vernon residents owe tremendous thanks to Mount Vernon Democratic City Committee Chairman Devereau Cannick and 2nd Vice Chairman Ronald Detres. Mount Vernon residents ought to throw him and Cannick a ticker-tape parade.   Thanks to these babbling fools liberty has been restored to the City of Mount Vernon.  Mount Vernon residents flocked to the polls on Tuesday November 3rd, 2009 to show the machinthat their “Seal of Approval” endorsements are not worth the paper they are written on.

2nd Vice Chairman Ron Detres was nowhere to be found on election.  Detres is usually responsible for putting together the nominating petitions for the Democrats.  Due to incompetence on Detres’ part, Mayor Young’s handpicked candidates were dropped from the ballot in September.  Ron Detres should be excluded indefinitely from any leadership role within the Mount Vernon Democratic City Committee.

The Mount Vernon Democratic Committee is on life support.  Due to the political infighting in Mount Vernon, the Democrats could not deliver the expected amount of votes to help Andy Spano to secure his re-election bid.  It is safe to safe that the so called Democratic Machine has run out of oil.

2nd Vice-Chairman Ron Detres was spotted in City Hall by Mount Vernon Exposed staff members on Wednesday November 3rd, 2009.  He was seen sneakily speaking to Deputy Chief of Staff, Brian Bochow.  When Detres spotted one of Mount Vernon Exposed staff members, he hurried into Bochow’s office and shut the door.  Detres had a perturbed look on his face as he was pacing back and forth in the hallway waiting for Bochow.

It appeared as Detres came to warn Bochow about something.  Could he be warning Bochow about destroying the paper trail for the no-bid contracts that were awarded to Bochow’s sister in law’s company Rossignuolo Contracting?  Was Detres worried that his wife Corporation Counsel Loretta Hottinger would to be implicated in the scheme to defraud Mount Vernon taxpayers, because she had prior knowledge of the illegal bid before the start of the demolition? Was Detres’ worried that the changing of the guard revealed that he no longer had his self-proclaimed powers in Fleetwood?   Mount Vernon residents quietly await the answers to these questions.

With no longer a use for Ron Detres because he cannot produce votes in Fleetwood, his wife’s job is in serious jeopardy.  Detres has had aspirations for quite some time for his wife to become a Judge in Mount Vernon.  His dream may now never come true because of all the shenanigans that his wife has been pulling in the Law Department.  Hottinger is the gatekeeper of Freedom of information and it is quite difficult to obtain information for her Department.

What will be Mr. Detres’ new roll in the Democratic Party?  We will have to wait and see.
