BISHOP EDWARS (center) INOLVED IN ILLEGAL ELECTION ACTIVIITES IN VIOLATION OF TAX EXEMPT STATUS |
Mount Vernon Exposed has
learned that this year’s school board election is about more than looting the
district dry of the $108 Million school bond.
A clergy insider told Mount Vernon Exposed that if the United Black
Clergy is able to pull of their sick plot of getting Kevin Bunch elected, the
newly comprised school board will vote to approve another charter school.
The new charter school would
be political payback to Bishop Edwars, President of the United Black Clergy and
also doubles as the Pastor of Friendship Worship Center, which will also be the
site of the new charter school.
Homeowners in the City of Mount Vernon can kiss the last several years
of zero percent tax increases goodbye, if United Black Clergy candidate Kevin
Bunch gets elected. Where are the feds?
UBC CANDIDATE KEVIN BUNCH |
Bishop has been struggling
for years with a next to zero congregation.
The jiving Bishop lost several tenants at his church that left because
of the excessive, above market rental fees charged by the Bishop. The Armani Charter School, which caused a
firestorm in the community, was also a tenant of Bishop Edwars. Bishop Edwars wants to keep the gravy train
running.
New York State has already
denied Bishop Edwars a charter school on several occasions. Mount Vernon
taxpayers and students cannot afford to have valuable resources taken out of
the already struggling school district to support the Bishop’s lavish
lifestyle. Where are the feds?
This year’s School Board
debates have turned into an absolute joke. Ministers pick moderators who favor
their candidates and are hostile to apposing candidates. The debates at Greater
Centennial and The Dole Center were an embarrassment and a set up. Further
debates should be boycotted, because The UBC does not know the meaning of
fairness and will stop at nothing until they get their paws on the loot.

Mount Vernon Exposed also urges the
residents of Mount Vernon to contact the U.S. Justice Department at (914) 993-1900 to demand that all past school bonds be
investigated.
